The Grande Prairie Chess Club will be supporting school chess programs in the

2009-2010 school year in the city of Grande Prairie.   

With financial help from the Alberta Chess Association and the Grande Prairie Chess Society, our club will be working with the local K-6, K-9, Junior High and High Schools to help them start, build, train and maintain their own chess club.  Each school that already has an active chess club or any school that wants to get one started will be able to have a page here detailing when their club meets, which teacher(s) are running it, which player from the Grande Prairie Chess Club (if any) will be helping the kids and any upcoming matches and events.
