We will be meeting at the Grande Prairie Public Library for the foreseeable future starting Saturday, September 17, 2011.  Our meetings will be of a casual nature with the exception of special events such as lectures and tournaments.  Here are the general rules and guidelines that we would like to follow when meeting at the library:

1.  The meeting time at the library will be on Saturdays from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.  If you would like to meet to play chess at other times or days, you must arrange it yourself through the Yahoo Newsgroup that has been set up.

2.  The meeting location at the library will be in the Fireplace Lounge.  The Fireplace Lounge is located on the main level of the library and is located all the way in the left hand corner of the library.

3.  We could also meet in the Teresa Sargent Hall located near the Esquires Coffee House if there is nothing happening there and the Fireplace Lounge is not available.

 4.  Tournaments will be held in the Rotary Community Room and will be clearly indicated in all tournament announcements.

5.  Chess equipment WILL NOT be supplied for casual chess on Saturdays.  You must bring your own equipment. 

6.  Chess equipment WILL BE supplied for tournaments and special lectures. 

7.  The library staff DOES NOT have any information regarding our casual meetings or any upcoming tournaments.  Please don't approach them regarding where and when we meet.  Please refer to the website for all information regarding meeting times and tournaments.

8.  Please don't bring any food or drink inside the library.
